Ritz Crackers-Flavored Ice Cream 'Cookies and Crackers' Sold Out Almost Instantly

September 10, 2020

Forget cookies and cream, it's all about crackers and cream.

But if you were hoping to get your hands on a tub of the salty-sweet combo from Coolhaus and Ritz, you'll have to wait a bit longer.

The ice cream company released the unconventional flavor on September 9 and it sold out almost immediately. Coolhaus revealed plans to restock so that more consumers could put the flavor to the test.

"The team is thrilled to see fans are so excited about the launch, but definitely weren’t expecting it to sell out so fast on day one," a spokesperson told TODAY. "Because of that, we are working with a secondary fulfillment center, who will be receiving more product today and the site will be restocked tomorrow (Thursday) morning."

The female-funded company is known for its odd concoctions including mustard ice cream, but Cookies and Crackers seems to have hit the spot.

The flavor features peanut butter ice cream and crushed up Ritz crackers, which is reminiscent of childhood Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker sandwiches.

Doesn't that sound like the perfect send-off to summer?
