Dairy Queen Launches New Pink Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard for Summer

June 30, 2020

A Blizzard has come to usher in the start of May.

Luckily, it’s not a snowstorm, but a tasty new ice cream treat from Dairy Queen.

The restaurant chain has unveiled their newest frothy addition and it will give you all the nostalgia vibes.

The Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard features the chain’s iconic soft-serve lended with real frosted animal sugar cookies and pink confetti icing. It’s then topped off with rainbow sprinkles and more cookie crumbles.

Fans can gorge on the latest flavor in mini, small, medium and large sizes for a limited-time. The mini clocks in at 410 calories, while the large is a decadent 1310 calories, according to the Dairy Queen website.

The Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard is just one of the items of Dairy Queen’s summer 2020 menu which includes six other Blizzard delicacies.

Two fan-favorite flavors returning to DQs are the Cotton Candy Blizzard and the S’mores Blizzard.

The Cotton Candy Blizzard includes the chain’s signature soft serve with cotton candy sprinkles to create one sweet avalanche of deliciousness.

In honor of the upcoming film release of “Wonder Woman 1984,” there’s the Wonder Woman Cookie Collision Blizzard. It features vanilla soft serve, chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate cookie dough, and fudge to form one truly heroic concoction.

Other flavors include the Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard, Raspberry Fudge Bliss Blizzard and the Royal Rocky Road Blizzard.

All seven flavors are available at participating Dairy Queen restaurants across the country.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Dairy Queen outlets reverted to being open for drive-thru orders, pickup and delivery only. As some states are beginning to reopen, customers should check with their local Dairy Queen to confirm the dining options available.
