Carrie Underwood will be back as host of the 2019 CMA Awards, but for the first time in over a decade she’ll be without her co-host Brad Paisley.

With a focus on the fierce females throughout the history of Country music, Underwood will be joined by Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton for the first time on the CMA stage.

“Let’s go girls! I’m so excited to be joining Carrie Underwood and Reba to celebrate the legendary women of country music as a guest host of this year’s CMA Awards on November 13,” Dolly Parton tweeted on Monday morning.

In a night honoring the legendary women of Country music, there will be three pros guiding the ship. Combined, the three have 124 CMA Awards nominations and 22 wins, 11 of them for Female Vocalist of the Year.

“It’s an incredible honor to welcome Carrie, Reba and Dolly to the CMA Awards stage this year,” says Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer in a statement. “In addition to awarding the year’s best and brightest in the genre, ‘The 53rd Annual CMA Awards’ will celebrate the legacy of women within Country Music, and we couldn’t think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show.”

The nominations for this year’s CMA Awards will be announced on August 28. Last year Keith Urban took home the award for Entertainer Of The Year, with Kacey Musgraves winning Album Of The Year with Golden Hour.

The 2019 CMA Awards happen live on Wednesday November 13 at 8 PM ET on ABC.
