I've always loved a good story. I'm truly fascinated by how a song is made, who inspires an artist, what the process looked like on someone's journey and stuff like that. I became an on-air personality to hear stories about how magic is made. I saw it as a way to be like Oprah, but to get to be around music while doing so. My radio mentors made it look easy and fun so I followed in their footsteps. PLUS, I was terrible at math so I wasn't going to be an accountant in this lifetime so I turned to radio.

There's so much I love about the valley! The people, the food, the energy, the hiking, the pool parties, the sports teams, the sunsets, all of it. I had no idea living in the desert could be so fun, but it is. I've been here for over 10 years and still find things to fall in love with. Oh and Sedona is one of my favorite places on earth and it's only an hour and a half away!

What do I love about working in Country Music? The realness. The authenticity in it all. From the listeners who tell you about their 47 hour pregnancies to the label representatives who make sure your beers are full at concerts. The fact that Country artists remember you and engage with you and are truly grateful for Country radio warms my heart. I had so many different artist congratulate me on my wedding and I felt so loved. They're real people, doing what they love, that happen to be famous. I gave Trisha Yearwood a cellphone case with Prince on it (she loves Prince, per Garth) and she sent me a video message thanking me. Who does that?? She's TRISHA FREAKING YEARWOOD??!! Blows my mind how welcoming and fun the Country music industry is. I'm happy to be a small part of it all. It's family. #Family

There are so many wonderful souls in this business. I loved talking one-on-one to Bruno Mars, Dierks Bentley and Garth Brooks. Even the sports people I've interviewed have been so very cool: Kurt Warner, Shaq, Steve Nash, Archie Bradley, Goldy, Al McCoy, Diana Taurasi, all amazing. My inner teen-self just about died when I met the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys. I'd have to say the most "moving" people I've gotten to speak with are probably the late Joan Rivers, astronaut Mark Kelly and Gary Levox from Rascal Flatts.

I'm exactly the same except I cuss more!! LOL Ha!! No, really though, I'm a wife, a dog mom, a daughter, a friend, an auntie, a yogi, a philanthropist, a writer... I try to be the best of all of those things. My husband, family and friends are my motivation. Any time I get cranky or off track, I remind myself to be grateful and it always gets me back to my true self. I'm very silly at home and I cry at emotional movies or sad Facebook posts. I love travellng, I love a good country song, I love to dance, I love Christmas, I love our crazy listeners and their kids. Like LoCash says "I love life!"
