One of the best family holiday activities to do as we count down to Christmas, is to check out light displays. My family and I have already checked out a few and I though I would share some of the best holiday light displays around the East Valley.

Zoo Lights at the Phoenix Zoo located at 455 N. Galvin Parkway. They are open from November 23 to January 8 from 5:30p to 10:30p.

Lights of the World Lantern Festival in Rawhide, located at 5700 N. Loop Road,Chandler. They area open seven days a week, from 5p-10p Monday to Thursday, 5p to 11p on Fridays and 3p to 11p Saturday and Sunday, from November 18 to January 29.

Ahwatukee Festival of Lights at Desert Foothills Park from November 26 to January 1. They are open every day from 11a-9p, with the lights along Chandler Blvd. until 11p.

Merry main Street in Downtown Mesa from November 25 to January 1 from 5:30p t0 10:30p

Christmas Lights on the Mesa Arizona Temple Grounds at 525 E. Main Street in Mesa. They run from November 25 to December 31.

Chandler’s Tumbleweed Tree and Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 3. Happening in Downtown Chandler, the event runs from 4:30p to 9p, with the parade at 7p.
