Planning a wedding is no small project, as pretty much every married couple can (and will) tell you. But between decisions about locations, menus, tableware and seating arrangements—not to mention dress shopping and guest-list editing—a task that can easily fall through the cracks is your soundtrack.

Which is, of course, vital, because key moments in the ceremony demand specific songs. You don’t want to dance with your parents to Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake,” do you?
