Taste in Tempe was another huge success this year, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day! Guests were greeted with a wine glass of their choice, either one for white wine or red wine. The mission of the day – fill those glasses until their punch card was full and they couldn’t eat anymore food!

Top chefs from all around the Valley came to Tempe Center for the Arts with favorites from their restaurants and bakeries in tow. This included Ncounter, Culinary Dropout, La Bocca Pizzeria, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Rita’s Ice, and many more.

The event was from 1p-4p and the lines started at every tent right away. Guests got to try everything from pizza to Greek food, courtesy of My Big Fat Greek Restaurant, to BBQ and then finish off with endless amounts of desserts like little pastries from Shelly’s Specialty Desserts.

To help wash down all the delicious food, many guests hovered around the beverage tents like Cartel, Dirty Tequila and Sleepy Dog Brewery.

This wasn’t just an eating event… guests got to learn how to make some of the stuff they were eating too! A demo stage was set up and featured chefs from La Bocca Urban Pizzeria + Wine Bar, NCounter, Wild Game Grill and Hummus Xpress. They also got to mingle with our on-air talent from LIVE 101.5, KMLE @ 107.9 and 94.5 KOOL FM!

At the end of the event, many guests left full but slightly sunburned! If you didn’t get a chance to attend Taste in Tempe this year, check out the pictures here and make sure not to miss out next year!
